It certainly seems like DC superstar Scott Snyder might want to take a deserved breather after coming off multiple event projects over the past five years like The Wake, Wytches, Superman Unchained, Batman Eternal, All-Star Batman, and Dark Nights: Metal, but there's no stopping the Eisner Award-winning creative juggernaut.
Snyder is currently the lead writer on DC's revamped Justice League, with inspired art from Jim Cheung and Jorge Jimenez, and the Metal spinoff mini-series The Batman Who Laughs, which revisits a horrifying incarnation of the Caped Crusader infused with the Joker's insensate evil.
As you can see in this video, SYFY WIRE sat down with Snyder during a rare moment of rest at SDCC 2018, where the indefatigable writer previewed both of these latest special projects, hinted at surprises to come in his wild new Black Label series with Greg Capullo, and selected a music playlist that best represents songs for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
And yes, a classic Guns N' Roses tune does figure into the equation!
