The fifth season of The 100 is rapidly coming to a close, but it is far from the end of The CW's fan favorite sci-fi series. Two of the show's stars, Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley , stopped by the SYFY WIRE studio during Comic-Con to reflect on the current paths of their characters, Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake.
"You have a different challenge each season," said Morley. "Bellamy, for me, is totally different this season... I think Bellamy, as we saw in the last episode, he's at the end of the march towards the war, and I think he's still gonna try to somehow find a way to stop the war. His mind is on still trying to stop the war."
Taylor briefly touched upon Clarke’s emotional bond with Madi, and how she is dealing with their rift over Madi's ascension.
"Clarke's [mind] is trying to deal with the fact that Madi has accepted the flame and ascended," said Taylor. "I think she's making more reckless choices, now more than ever, because instead of trying to look after everyone, she just has this one thing to protect in her mind. That's been really interesting."
As announced last May, The 100 will be back for a sixth season on The CW, but Taylor doesn't have much of an idea about what's next for Clarke. She told us that she hasn't had her meeting with executive producer Jason Rothenberg yet to talk about the next stage of Clarke's life.
