One of the major attractions of Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming was the infectious cast chemistry displayed on screen, especially between Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Jacob Batalon's Ned Leeds. Audiences warmed up to the web-swinging superhero story and its lighter tone to the tune of an $877 million worldwide box office tally.
SYFY WIRE caught up with Batalon today at New York Comic Con and talked with the actor about his humbling experience playing the sidekick Ned, grounding the movie in reality, upcoming Blu-ray bloopers, his all-time Ned superhero dream-team, and that one awesome deleted scene of his character eating a bunch of potato chips.
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings onto Blu-ray and DVD on October 17.
