Watch Stan Lee's truly bizarre rant about movie credits being too long. Seriously.

Comic legend Stan Lee has always been an outspoken dude, but he’s catching some flack for his latest video rant.

Lee has had a recurring feature over at Stan Lee’s World of Heroes for a while now, where he goes on entertaining tirades about everything from who would win in hero vs. hero fights to 3D movies and how Thor can fly. It’s usually all in good fun, but his latest is a bit strange.

His latest complaint: super-long credit sequences, which have (admittedly) only gotten longer as superhero and sci-fi flicks become bigger and crazier affairs loaded down with FX work. As Lee correctly notes, they can sometimes run for 15 minutes, which is a bit annoying when you’re hanging on for dear life waiting for a secret post-credit scene.

But we’d argue Lee misses the point when he says they should just ax the credits because no one cares who played all these minor roles. Yes, it is small print that flies by quickly — but all of those folks absolutely deserve credit for their contribution to the film, no matter how weird or random their job might’ve been.

Everyone deserves credit for their work. Period. If that means a 15-minute crawl before I get to see what insane easter egg Joss Whedon has cooked up, I’m okay with it.
