In case you’ve been living under a rock the past few days, you should know that NASA’s New Horizons probe is currently sending back some of the best images ever taken of the former planet Pluto. If you need an update, don’t worry, because Stephen Colbert and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are here to help.

Colbert, who is set to take up the big chair as the host of The Late Show in September, has been keeping himself busy with a ton of nifty online videos and stunts after shutting down his old show The Colbert Report.

Colbert has always been an unabashed geek, so he sat down with the Internet's favorite scientist, Neil deGrasse Dyson, to dig into the New Horizons mission and what we’re learning from the project. Of course, since Tyson was a proponent for demoting Pluto from planetary status, Colbert gives him a little grief about it. So kick back and enjoy as the duo go over what’s happening 4.67 billion miles away. Don’t worry, there are ample amounts of Tang.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert premieres Sept. 8.
