As we all know, Superman blew 80 candles on his birthday cake last week, but we're happy to report that no hurricane was created during the joyous occasion. While SYFY WIRE was at Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) a few short weeks ago, we asked convention-goers to share with us what they love about the Man of Steel and who their favorite Superman is.

Dany Roth was tasked with flying around the convention center with the help of the Legion flight ring to meet (up in the sky) with the fans. There, he asked them to talk about their first introduction to Kal-El/Clark Kent; when they first fell in love with the character; or what was their favorite moment about one of the greatest superheroes of all time.

While many a fan was introduced to the world of Superman via the Christopher Reeve films, most people fell in love with the character thanks to the DC Comics. Some of the fans also revealed their favorite Superman comic stories which include Mark Millar's Eisner Award-nominated Superman: Red Son limited series and Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman.

Have a look at the video and let us know when you fell in love with Superman, which was your favorite incarnation of the Man of Steel, and what story was your favorite.
