What happens when you shrink down to the size of an insect to fight bad guys and can't return to normal size? It's a dilemma that apparently plagues the Atom (Ray Palmer) in an exclusive clip from Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: The Flash. Mr. Palmer finds himself in the middle of a bustling city with no way to return to his normal form.

"The world around me has become more dangerous than you can possiby imagine. Every car a cataclysm, every mouse a monster, every meter a marathon!" He gets chased by a red-eye rodent before we pull out to a wider shot and everyone is going on with their day-to-day business, unaware of the Atom's ordeal. If only he had Pickle Rick's anti-mouse deterrent suit.

Why he can't simply reverse his shrinkage is a mystery, but in the comics, Professor Ray Palmer of Ivy University worked on this technology in order to fight overpopulation. His efforts resulted in a lens, which could shrink anything (including himself) to any size. However, in the early stages of this development, the quick compression of an object's molecular structure would cause it to explode. Palmer would perfect the science and use it to become the superhero known as the Atom.

You can pick up the movie on DVD and Blu-ray March 13 or buy the digital version, which is already available. The story finds the Flash caught in a time-loop created by the Reverse-Flash, forcing the former to relive the same day over and over again. This causes him to start losing his powers and get ousted from the Justice League. The Flash must reverse the effects and bring his enemy to justice if he wants his life to return to normal.
