The three actors dished on what drew them to the series in the first place, the blazing chemistry we get to see onscreen, and the underused concept of shifting one's physical appearance within the realm of science fiction and fantasy.
"It just felt very realistic," Pearce said, explaining why he wanted to be a part of the project. "There was no question, really."
"The writing, the scenes, the scenes between the relationship and the characters ... it was easier to get into the relationship stuff, because the characters and the way it was written, was so grounded," said Ascott. "It wasn't this cheesy relationship, there was maturity within the relationship."
"There's so much depth and subtext," added Groundsell. "It feels like every scene is written as if we've had that relationship."
