In a little more than a year, Marvel Studios will release Avengers: Infinity War, the first of two films that represent the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. Infinity War seems destined to be one of the biggest movies ever, and we're craving any hint of what the studio has in store for us.
Well, tonight Marvel finally rewarded fans with a teaser video announcing the start of production on the film in Atlanta. Since they've only just begun shooting, there's no new footage, but there's everything else: a wreckage-strewn set with a green screen behind it, a writers' room complete with a well-thumbed copy of The Infinity Gauntlet, lots of concept art, interviews with producer Kevin Feige, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and directors Joe and Anthony Russo and, of course, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland and Chris Pratt hanging out together.
Oh yeah, the rumors were true. The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man, all in one movie. Plus, if you listen closely, you might even catch a couple of plot clues. Check it out:
Pretty cool, right? Now, I'll leave you to freeze and zoom on every frame of this thing.
Avengers: Infinity War lands May 4, 2018.
