SYFY will be debuting a new original TV movie titled NeverKnock as part of its 31 Days of Halloween marathon, and the first spooky trailer has dropped.
Written and directed by Sheldon Wilson (The Hollow), the movie stars a bunch of SYFY alums in Dominique Provost–Chalkley (Wynonna Earp), Jodelle Ferland (Silent Hill, Dark Matter), Kiana Madeira (The Night Before Halloween, Wynonna Earp), Varun Saranga (Wynonna Earp), as well as Nicholas Campbell (Awakening the Zodiac, Tin Star) and Lola Flannery (The Mist, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments).
The gist of the storyline for NeverKnock is pretty similar to 2016’s Don’t Knock Twice. On Halloween night, Grace (Dominique Provost–Chalkley) and her new friends knock on the door of 59 Oakwood Lane, despite the house’s murderous history and warnings to never knock on that door. See, 40 years earlier, again on Halloween night, three teens were found dead after knocking on 59 Oakwood Lane's door, and the murderer was never found. The group is definitely going to “wish they’d heeded the warnings and never knocked… for the Neverknock…” Cue the chills.
From the trailer, it looks like the low-budget scare-fest could deliver some decent scares when it drops Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. on SYFY. Check it out:
