If you're a Stranger Things fan, all you probably want for Christmas right now is a proper trailer showing off footage from the show's upcoming third season. Well, as far as we know we're not getting that, but that doesn't mean we don't get to see the show's main cast hanging out.
Netflix posted a new video from the show Thursday that features stars Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Noah Schnapp (Will), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), and Sadie Sink (Max) all joining together to wrap a few gifts that will be sent out to the show's fans worldwide. Since the kids are all teenagers at this point, and they were unleashed in front of a camera with no script and a bunch of wrapping paper and bows to goof around with, it wasn't exactly an organized, restrained process.
Granted, most of what we're seeing here is just a band of teenagers left to their own devices and doing everything from taping each other's noses shut to flossing (the dance, not the dental hygiene) for the cameras, but there are some legitimately charming moments, including Brown's assertion that the best "wrapper" is Cardi B and Sink's attempts to actually pay attention to detail and wrap the gifts while Schnapp just enjoyed throwing everything in a box. Oh, and somehow the kids all got hold of the spiked baseball bat from last season by the end, because even Christmas is dangerous on this show.
Stranger Things 3 will take the kids to the summer of 1985, in which Hawkins gets a new mall, we meet some new characters, and we face plenty of new threats. The episode titles for the new season have been revealed, but that's about all at this point. The show returns sometime next year.
