The women of the Arrowverse are just as important as the male namesakes of their respective shows. On The Flash, Iris may not have superpowers, but her husband Barry (aka the Flash) treats her as an equal partner. Caitlin does have superpowers, and is constantly battling the best way to handle them. Over on Legends of Tomorrow, Sarah is now the captain of Wave Rider, her team's time-traveling spaceship, but she still finds time to kick ass and have a relationship.
At last weekend's DC in D.C. event, we chatted with three of the women of the Arrowverse: Candice Patton (Iris West-Allen on The Flash), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow on The Flash), and Caity Lotz (Sarah Lance on Legends of Tomorrow).
Panabaker talks about the "split personality" Caitlin deals with, and whether Killer Frost will win out and join the bad guys. Patton discusses the potential difficulties that might interrupt Iris and Barry's honeymoon period. And Lotz addresses #AvaLance -- of course.
The ladies also opened up about being females in what is still traditionally a male-dominated genre, and not just being there to "support the males."
