Watch twin girls play the Star Trek theme on harps (yes, harps)

These ladies are boldly going where no harpists have gone before.

Identical twins and electric harpists Camille & Kennerly have had a lot of fun with new arrangements of fantasy and sci-fi music lately. Just in the last few months they've put up intricate electric harp covers of, among others, the Doctor Who theme and "The Rains of Castamere" from Game of Thrones, and for extra fun they perform these arrangements in appropriate costumes and surrounded by appropriate scenery. All of their videos are a geeky good time, but last week they may have hit the pinnacle of nerdy harp playing when they released their arrangement of the Star Trek theme.

Dressed in command gold Starfleet uniforms, the Harp Twins perform an arrangement that unites the themes of the original series and The Next Generation, all while in a rocky locale that suggests a lonely planet out on the Final Frontier. Check out the video below, and if you like what you hear, head over to the Camille & Kennerly YouTube page for more information on where else you can follow their music and download their stuff.
