Science fiction and fantasy author Delilah Dawson has a diverse and expansive resume – The Blud series, YA novels like Servants of the Storm and Strike and Star Wars tie-in stories like “The Perfect Weapon” and “Scorched.”
She’s now writing Lady Castle for BOOM! Studios. Lady Castle flips the tables on the tropes of Arthurian tales; the King and his vassals are all killed, leaving the women of the castle in charge.
Delilah told us about the genesis of Lady Castle (and what Monty Python had to do with it), her upcoming work with Adventure Time and historically appropriate swearing.
Oh, and she gave us the backstory on how she first started writing the Star Wars short stories, including her total geek out moment when she got the call from her agent.
