Watch Bryan Singer's apocalyptic web series H+ right NOW

It's been a while since we've heard much about Bryan Singer's apocalyptic web series H+, set in an extremely over-connected world, but the wait ends now—the first two, tense episodes have officially gone live.

The man behind X-Men: First Class and Superman Returns, Singer brings quite a bit of clout to the online series. The production values look top-notch, and the first two episodes definitely set the tone for what looks like an awesome thrill ride.

Here's the official synopsis for the series:

A groundbreaking new series by acclaimed producer Bryan Singer, H+: The Digital Series takes viewers on a journey into an apocalyptic future where technology has begun to spiral out of control... a future where the world's population has retired its cell phones and laptops in favor of a stunning new device by Hplus Nano Teoranta, an innovative technology company that has found a way to connect the Internet to the human mind 24 hours a day.

The episodes are debuting as a YouTube original series, and new installments will be available every Wednesday.
