Sure, Blade Runner is a classic NOW, but back in 1982, before anyone had seen any footage of the film, it was a gamble. So Ridley Scott put together a behind-the-scenes look which was screened at sci-fi conventions to win over the fans. And 29 years later, it's more revealing than ever before.
Scott, looking impossibly young, begins with a generic one-size-fits-all "welcome to this year's convention," makes sure we all know he's the guy responsible for Alien and then lets concept designer Syd Mead and FX wizard Douglas Trumbull share the screen.
