We're all guilty of unconsciously humming the Star Wars theme sometimes. Admit it, you even imagine the text crawl is describing the epic events of your work day. Well, vocalist Nick McKaig took geeky humming to a whole new level when he recorded himself mimicking every single instrument from John Williams' iconic theme song, then put them all together.

McKaig's been filling his YouTube account with a cappella covers of everything from the Muppet Show theme song to Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time," but this is by far his most ambitious effort. Miming the instruments as he went, McKaig recorded himself on both audio and video singing every part of the intricate theme, then combined them altogether to form a perfect vocal copy of Williams' music.

McKaig claims that there are more than 90 different iterations of his voice on the recording, and that making the video took "more than 300 hours."

"This is my tribute to the most amazing film composer ever to live, Mr. John Williams," McKaig wrote in the description for the video, which has drawn more than 350,000 views since it was posted last Thursday.

Check out McKaig's awesome vocal stylings below. The Force is strong with this one.
