If you've seen ''Closing Time''—the penultimate episode of Doctor Who's sixth season this past weekend—then you're already aware of the shocking twist that took place in the last few minutes and, like us, can't wait for that finale to air. In the meantime, you can see what happens between the episodes in this particularly chilling new prequel.

''Tick Tock goes the clock.'' Seriously, children's songs and nursery rhymes have a knack for being utterly creepy at times, and this one is no exception. It's sending cold chills down our little geeky spines. Spoo-keh.

Ahhh, Doctor! We can't wait to see how you'll get out of that jam you're in, impending death and all. (We all know he will, but the fun will be to see just HOW he'll do it.)

In the meanwhile, our lucky colleagues over at SFX have already seen ''The Wedding of River Song'' and are teasing us mercilessly gently with non-spoilery teasers.

So we just thought we'd let you know about 5 of them that stood out for us, though in truth all of them were particularly intriguing:

♦ It does answer a lot of questions, but some old ones (from Matt Smith's first series) are still left open, and some new ones are posed.

♦The denouement is bound to cause some debate. If you like the episode, you'll be able to rationalize it, but if you don't you'll be going, "But hang on, in that episode ... ?" But that's Doctor Who fandom.

♦ You'll discover a whole new meaning to the phrase "Live Chess" that has nothing to do with Harry Potter.

♦The episode title may not be as much of a red herring as you might think. But then again ...

♦ I can guarantee that some people will go, "Oh I guessed that all along" at one point, but considering millions of fans on thousands of websites have been discussing every possible outcome, it's not surprising that some people will have come across it. I'm happy to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I'm thick.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to ''The Wedding of River Song''? What are your predictions about the episode?

''The Wedding of River Song'' airs this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, on BBC One, BBC America and Space.
