Poor Matt Murdock. Not only does he nearly get killed in The Defenders after all his other vigilante hardships (on top of his blindness), but now he’s losing his apartment. The Hell’s Kitchen local is going to be out on the streets of NYC — or at the very least, in a convent.
The beaten-down hero must face darkness, Fisk, and rising rent prices in Season 3 thanks to one very clever Craigslist ad from Hell's Kitchen Property Management that put Daredevil’s apartment back on the market with plenty of Marvel-based wordplay.
The listing offers up the “spacious loft apartment” with “Major Character” after recent tremors damaged other units in the area. But, since the tenant left unexpectedly and without notice, this one-bedroom is the perfect location to "Marvel" at the city under siege.
It's a beautiful space to be sure:
The ad also notes that the apartment is “great for anyone with accessibility needs,” thanks to its open floor plan and has the specific combination of a boxing gym, courthouse, and local law office as nearby neighbors. Could you be the building’s new superheroic tenat? For a mere $2,000 a month (it’s still New York, people), this apartment could be yours. Sensei not included.
And yes, the apartment will be available when Daredevil’s Season 3 hits Netflix on Oct. 19.
