When we last saw Capt. Jack Sparrow in At World's End, he was (and we hope we're not spoiling things here—after all, it's been three frakkin' years!) adrift in a dingy, with good rum, wind in his sails and the important part of a treasure map. We figured Capt. Jack was off for more high adventures, but what they were or whether we'd ever get to see them, we had no idea. Now we do.
Yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con, Disney revealed some details about the next booty-getting treasure hunt:
When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), he's not sure if it's love—or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

It all sounds and looks promising. But wait! There's more. At the Tron: Legacy panel, con-goers were treated to a 3D message from Johnny Depp in which he mentioned zombies. (And mermaids. And Penelope Cruz.)
Zombies AND pirates? Does this mean Keith Richards will be returning?
Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides opens May 20, 2011.
