Bad news, fans of James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar. If you were looking forward to the sequel, well, you're going to have to wait. How long? Even longer than you (or anyone) had thought.
We had it from Wikipedia and IMDB that Avatar 2 would be released December 2014. But now producer Jon Landau has crushed that dream like a Thanator. Because according to a report in Bleeding Cool, we won't be seeing Avatar 2 for four years.
It's mind-boggling how much can take place in four years. You could get a university degree, get a different job, move to another city, get married, have children and finish Skyrim.
But in all that time, what you can't have is the opportunity to watch Jake Sully and Neytiri explore the other moons of Polyphemus.
