What Walking Dead's creators think you should do until the series returns

What's that screaming we hear? Is it the sound of humans fleeing the zombie horde? No, it's the viewers of The Walking Dead, who've realized they have to wait until October 2011 for the second season. If you're one of those, there are ways to pass the time ... and they don't involve honing your gun skills.

Entertainment Weekly chatted with the executive producers of The Walking Dead, Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman, to provide a list of zombie-related activities.

Hurd and Kirkman suggest reading the Walking Dead comic books and watching the obvious movies, such as Day of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead. They also recommend reading the obvious books, such as World War Z and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

However, EW neglected to mention the fantastic and fantastically funny film Shaun of the Dead and the zombie anthologies The Living Dead and The Living Dead 2.

But there's an item on their list that can't be topped—the short BBC film Dawn of the Ted:
