Every year we see another round of movie posters for sci-fi's summer blockbusters, and every year they try to make the advertised flicks sound better than they have any right to sound. Luckily, someone just decided to tell the truth about what you'll see after you plunk down your money. (And as you'd expect, it's not the studios.)

The Photoshop wizards over at theshiznit have mocked up more than a dozen super-honest summer movie posters, and we're sharing three of them here to let you see why you should rush over and check out the rest.

Our favorite? The tagline for the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie that goes, "We know Transformers 2 sucked, but TRUST US THIS TIME, it can't be any worse than the last one."
