Who's this sci-fi politician who doesn't want your money or vote?

Imagine a U.S. senator with a Web site who doesn't give his party affiliation, his state, doesn't even have a button where you can donate money to his re-election campaign.

If you can, then you've found the Web site of U.S. Sen. Daniel Perrin, whose sole purpose seems to be to stop the nefarious Rossum Corporation at all costs.

Who is Sen. Perrin? He's a character played by Alexis Denisof on Fox's Dollhouse, and he makes his debut in Friday's season-two premiere episode (airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT). And what is the Rossum Corporation? It's the Big Bad of the Dollhouse universe, about which I'm sure we'll learn more in coming weeks. That is, if the show survives, which is not a done deal.

In the meantime, you can follow Perrin's Twitter feed here and read about his limited career ambitions on his site, a viral for the show:

United States Senator Daniel Perrin has made a name for himself by standing up for what he believes in. That no company is above the law; that information should be free, and we are all personally responsible for society.

Daniel believes he was elected because of his belief to fight for truth and transparency, at a time where both are sadly lacking.
