Why Nathan Fillion believes he'd make a terrible Batman

For years, fans have been campaigning for Nathan Fillion to play a major superhero on the big screen. Every time a role is up for grabs, his name magically pops up. These days, following Christian Bale's exit as the Dark Knight, Warner Bros. is looking for a new Batman. Once again, Fillion has been mentioned -- but he doesn't think he's the guy for the job.

Fillion told EW, “I think I’d make an excellent Bruce Wayne; I think I’d make a terrible Batman.” Unfortunately, it's a two-for-one deal. You can't have one without the other. The actor doubts he has what it takes to produce the hero's signature growl. He joked, “I wonder if my throat could take it?"

Fillion has heard your cries. He knows that fans want certain actors to play Batman, but he suggests you promote with caution.

“If you wanted to see a particular person as Batman, I think one of the worst things you could do is shove it down someone’s throat as far as the new director of Batman or the new producers of Batman,” he said. “Probably the worst thing you could do if there’s someone you want to be Batman is sort of rally.”

Does Fillion have a point? Do you think he'd make a terrible Batman?
