When she decided to take on the iconic role of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Anne Hathaway knew the pressure would be on to match Michelle Pfeiffer's classic performance in 1992's Batman Returns.

In an interview with Allure Magazine, Hathaway said the rigors of fitting into the skintight cat suit drove her nuts for months during the filming of the final film in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

"It was a psychological terrorist. The suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit ..."

"It dominated my year. I went into the gym for ten months and didn't come out."

Judging by the promo photos we've seen, Hathaway seems to have pulled it off —but we still want to see her on the big screen to be sure.

What do you think? Will Hathaway be a believable Selina Kyle?

The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20.
