Magic is alive and well, and orcs are the criminal underclass of society. Police try to keep the peace on the streets, where peace between humans and fairy-tale creatures is hard to come by. Welcome to the world of Bright, the upcoming Netflix film starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. And fans can now dissect the most recent trailer, below.

Here we get some new footage, including more oil-meets-water interactions between Smith’s character, Daryl Ward, and Edgerton’s character, Nick Jacoby. Daryl also manages to offend some orcs with racist stereotypes. (Hey, Daryl: Orc Lives Matter.)

But the thrust of the trailer is the same as the previous one: A magic wand can tear the uneasy truce between races — and the entire world — apart. It’s an exciting premise, one we’re really looking forward to.

Netflix has been producing quality television shows and films since 2013, but Bright is its most expensive film to date, with a $90 million budget. Netflix will be spending $8 billion on original programming in 2018.

Bright hopes to dazzle fans on Netflix when it debuts on Dec. 22, 2017.
