As if you didn't need another reason to love Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress/model of last year's box office smash Wonder Woman, visited the Inova Children's Hospital in Annandale, Virginia on Friday.
The appearance of a massive celebrity in a normal outfit would have been enough, but Gadot also chose to show up in her full battle armor as Amazonian princess Diana Prince of Themyscira from the feature film, prominently featured in a heart-pumping sequence where she rushes into the No Man's land of a WWI battlefield.
Heart surgeon Dr. Lucas Collazo posted about the hospital's high-profile visitor on Twitter, writing:
"Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us @InovaHealth Children’s Hospital. You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it...and so did the staff 😉 #wonderwan84".
The doctor's hashtag refers to the subtitle of the Wonder Woman sequel, which will be set in the 1984, premiering in theaters November 1, 2019. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film will see the return of Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and the introduction of a new villain, Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
Extra photos of Gadot posing with staffers and patients alike were posted by the Twitter fan account @WonderWomanHQ and Reddit oligarchyoligarchy.
The Inova health system comprises six hospitals in the greater D.C. area (very fitting for a visit from a DC character), whose goals are to, "leverage precision medicine to predict, prevent and treat disease, enabling individuals to live longer, healthier lives."
