An international ad campaign short for Wonder Woman has been unchained and contains some scintillating new footage from the upcoming period superhero film.
In addition to this latest exhilarating promo of the Amazonian princess catapulting herself through the German Army's ranks, there's also news via FilmRatings.com that Wonder Woman could also be released for home video as an extended R-rated version ... a la Zack Snyder's more violent edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The information was yanked from The Classification and Ratings Administration (CARA), where a Wonder Woman Director's Cut is registered alongside an alternate title of Wonder Woman Commemorative Edition, which could potentially result in this R-rated cut appearing in IMAX and standard theaters, being available digitally, being available only as a Blu-ray special edition, or all three! Whether this is actually the Patty Jenkins film or something else remains to be seen.
In the meantime, have a peek at the new Brazilian preview hosted by Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. Wonder Woman opens June 2.
