WTF headline of the century: Skywalkers in Korea Cross Han Solo

We admit this up front—the body of the story we're linking to has nothing to do with sci-fi. But the headline to the Washington Post story, on the other hand, caused us to do such a double take that we just had to share it.

Those "Skywalkers" in the headline?

Nope, they have nothing to do with Star Wars—the article was reporting on the world's first high-wire championship, held a few years ago in South Korea.

And as for "Han Solo," no, that's not referencing who you thought either.

In fact, it's not referring to a person or character at all. The Han is the river those wire walkers were attempting to cross without plunging into the water below.

Make sense now?

We're glad to know somebody at the Washington Post has a sense of humor!
