The demonic yet lovely world of Purgatory just got much closer to home, as SYFY's own Wynonna Earp has teamed with the Yarn app to bring text-based Wynonna-filled storytelling to phones near you.

The first three stories debuted July 13, and a new one will be released each day leading up to the show's Season 3 premiere on Friday, July 20. (The Earp party continues, by the way, July 21 at San Diego Comic-Con at the 6:45 p.m. TV panel.)

Each story is told through text messaging via the app among the characters on the show, and each vignette sets up the events of Season 3, and what could be next from the Cult of Bulshar.

For your purgatorial enjoyment, here are a few screengrabs to get the text ball rolling.

There's more in the works, too: such as Doc teaching Jeremy to play poker, or Waverly texting Nicole after "accidentally" falling into a Facebook hole of looking at photos of Nicole's ex.

As is abundantly clear in the show, this ain't your (great-great) grandma's W. Earp.
