If those Ewoks always creeped you out a bit, this may help explain it all—an actor who appeared beneath the fur of one those Endor teddy bears in Return of the Jedi was just convicted of indecent exposure.

40-year-old Nicholas Read—who reportedly appeared in the Harry Potter films as well—was convicted "after a 17-year-old girl told Leicester crown court how the actor performed a sex act under the cover of a juggler's hat."

According to The Guardian, Read was given a suspended sentence by the judge, who made a statement that:

"A relatively short sentence of imprisonment will not help you, and it certainly will not protect the public from your fantasies. I have had to ask myself this question: is this a case where not just you, but more importantly, the public would benefit from you receiving a short custodial sentence? The answer to that is no."

Reed was instead required to pay a fine of £500, be supervised by a probation service, and take part in a community sex offender group work program.

We're assuming Read did not greet this news by singing that mind-numbing "Yub Nub" song.
