Anyone above the age of 9 can slap the exterior of the Millennium Falcon together using LEGOs — and many of us have. But it takes the perseverance of an adult to tackle the upcoming LEGO version of the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.
The soon-to-be-released set, 75192, is LEGO’s largest and most challenging to date. With 7,541 pieces (as compared to the current version’s 1,329 pieces), it took YouTuber and builder Ben Pro 20 hours to complete.
Ben Pro posted a time-lapse video of his work, below, which includes a breathtaking amount of detail of the interior. The only thing missing is a holo-chess board.
According to Geek Tyrant, the scaled-down version of Han Solo’s bucket of bolts will be 33 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 19 pounds.
This set also takes an adult’s wallet, as it’s priced at $799.99. That’s probably more than Han Solo anted up in the game of sabacc in which he won the ship from Lando Calrissian.
Check out the video. The set is currently available on LEGO's website to pre-order — you wouldn't want this set to slip through your fingers.
