Because there's always more to know about Star Wars ...

Let's face it -- most of us will never get tired of hearing more behind-the-scenes stories from when the original Star Wars trilogy was filmed. And, at this point, you've probably gotten all you're gonna get out of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and the rest of the lead actors. After all, most of them are back on for the new trilogy, so it doesn't really behoove them to reveal any dirt at this point.

But there were lots of bit players, monsters, stormtroopers, bounty hunters and all other sorts who were in those movies, too. And, unless you've followed these people to every penny-ante con in the world, chances are you haven't heard their stories.

Thankfully, documentarian Jon Spira has taken it upon himself to track down these people, some of whom you know, some you may not, and ask them about their experiences in a galaxy far, far away. The only hitch -- they had to have had their faces covered by a mask or helmet of some sort.

Eighteen months later, Spira has accumulated a lot of footage, including interviews with David Prowse (Darth Vader) and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett). Of course, the hitch is, Spira needs money to put the whole documentary together.

The Kickstarter has gained about 11K of the 30k pounds it needs. Definitely worth a look, because it's not just the story of the movie, but you get to learn what it's like to have been a faceless presence in one of the biggest movies of all time.
