We usually have to wait until the Super Bowl to check out the epic new movie trailers this time of year, but the team behind World War Z decided to go ahead and give us a sneak peek. Want to see the zombie hordes chase Brad Pitt?

The film has had its share of well-documented problems, especially with the final act, and was delayed to allow time for some reshoots to rework the ending. It’s hard to tell what’s new and old here, but it’s easy to see that director Marc Forster is going for a big, big-budget zombie flick.

It opens just as the outbreak begins, with Pitt’s character spending time with his lovely family. Then all hell breaks loose and entire continents start to fall. And yes, in case you’re wondering, the zombies still look like swarming ants. We’re anxious to see if it’s genuinely scary in execution or just a cool bit of FX work.

Check out the trailer below:

The trailer debuts on TV this Sunday. Will you be there when this one opens June 21?
