Holden makes an uneasy alliance with Fred Johnson, Uncle Mateo throws rocks, Anderson Dawes delivers a killer monologue and Miller gets canned. Here are our favorite moments from The Expanse Season 1, Episode 6: "Rock Bottom."

  1. James Holden … You Son of a Bitch

No one can give a warm welcome quite like Fred Johnson. The initial meeting between the head of operations at Tycho Station and the crew of the Rocinante is somewhat tense, though they soon put aside their differences and become the best of friends. Well, not really … can Johnson be trusted? Stay tuned!

  2. That Makes Me a Monster

    Ladies and Gentlemen, Jared Harris.

  3. What's The Problem, Boss Man?

The Xinglong's run-in with a Martian patrol vessel was nothing short of enraging. "What gives you the right to life's riches?" Uncle Mateo bitterly asks as the Martian soldiers order him to impound his haul due to an expired transponder. Then things get REALLY ugly when one of them steals a water bottle. Makes you wonder how much a man can take before he, you know, stands up

  4. A Man's Got to Stand Up

Some day … things gonna change.

  5. Undying Loyalty

Miller's on to something with this bioweapon conspiracy theory. Unfortunately, his crackerjack detective work gets him fired from Star Helix Security. Time to continue the search for Julie Mao rogue-style and off the record!
