Miller's off to Eros, the crew of the Rocinante gets a new punching bag and Alex spews some five-dollar words. Here are our favorite moments from The Expanse Season 1, Episode 7: "Windmills."

  1. Kenzo, Meet Amos

"Why are we broadcasting?" Alex asks both casually and ominously. Amos checks it out, 'cause if there's trouble, you always want Amos to check it out first. And lo and behold, he finds a stowaway on board the good ship Rocinante: Kenzo Gabriel, the spy that Chrisjen "borrowed" to spy on Fred Johnson at Tycho Station. Amos deals with him predictably but effectively: he beats the crap out of him until his face visor cracks. Thus begins a beautiful friendship!

  2. A Good Day For Starting Over

Is the mighty Anderson Dawes actually a little rattled? He probably knew Miller survived being thrown in the airlock after he found his two would-be assassins pumped full of Octavia's bullets, but we doubt we was expecting the ex-detective to actually come looking for him at the docks, full of fire and brimstone and a renewed sense of purpose. Dawes is pretty impressed with Miller's chutzpah … and manages to turn on the charm just enough to keep him from starting a major scene. Whew.

  3. You Can't Come With Me

Speaking of Octavia, she wants to go with Miller on his mission to Eros, but he doesn't choose to accept her offer. This is one trip he has to take alone, and their goodbye is surprisingly tender and, thankfully, unfussy (unMussy?).

  4. That Worked Out

A bit of advice for all your space travelers who plan on commandeering a Martian ship sometime in the near future: make sure the emergency black ops code words are easily accessible.

  5. Next Stop: Eros

After leaving his hat behind, Miller's off in search of Julie Mao, clutching her necklace for luck, hoping he'll be able to give it back to her in person. We have to admit, we're a little worried for Miller. Let's hope he finds some friends on Eros …
