Ears ringing, dust swirling and settling, everyone is coming to after the shock bombing right as the Newmerica vote was about to be read. What's happening? First, help survivors and zombie-vivors. Some of whom are impaled on large items now protruding from their bodies.
Many once-human delegates are now "talkers." Warren, George and Estes huddle up. He has sources saying a talker was behind the bombing. But why? The vote was a landslide -- with Z talkers as full citizens. And where is George's Z-pal, Dante?
A perimeter breach and lockdown means everyone is on high alert. Meanwhile, Citizen's camera may have caught the culprit on film. Estes quickly appears and demands Citizen hand over the camera. To review, of course. And noticeably before anyone else can. Suspicious…
Estes gets a status report on everyone's whereabouts and the captive talkers. One who is roaming free? Pandora, and Estes is in no hurry to fence her in. What has she talked him into? It definitely looks like she's working him. With her tongue.
Murphy is still being followed, even across this wasteland. When his stalker catches up, turns out it's Wesson. From Murphytown. Bonus: He's thrilled to see Murphy. And he's got one dozen blended friends, they have vehicles, and they want to take him to Limbo. OK? OK!
The on-the-run crew snaked a truck from some humans that were out hunting Zs. They used a limping lure to lead them down a dirt road and then took their truck. On their way to Pacifica, they find some talkers that had escaped with Dante and were tortured, killed and then strung up and burned. It's horrifying. And where's Dante?
Starved for biscuits and now escaped, zombies are attacking all over Altura. 10K rushes off to help someone and is quickly surrounded. And -- OMG -- bit! Is this it? After all this time? 10K! Red to the rescue - she chops off his arm at the bite. But it's not over --
Warren, Doc, CZ and George bury the bodies of the tortured talkers. They wonder who could have done this -- and who is responsible for the bombing. Still on Dante's trail, searching for answers, they continue their journey to Pacifica.
