One of the things that’s becoming more and more apparent? There are a LOT of organizations with access to creepy skeletons infected with the virus. Even the CIA has one! And…they’re weaponizing it.

The CIA has a plan called Operation Troy (we’ve heard of this before). The point is to kill their secret-leaker Adam Wexler with a virus so that they don’t have to drop an airstrike.
130881
The problem is that Cassie and Cole know that Operation Troy is what starts the virus outbreak worldwide. And they have to shut it down.
130886
Cole and Cassie. Sitting in a tree. Skewers made of tandoori. At the museum party, the pair dance, try a few appetizers, and run into Dr. Ed Garret.
130891
Dr. Garrett and Cassie discuss the strange markings that Cole found in his travels through time. The markings point to a nefarious religious sect called “The Druze.”
130896
Now that Aaron has joined Cassie and Cole’s virus-finding team, he’s really starting to take a few risks. Such as stealing key fobs from Senators with classified information.
130901
And then things get weird – Cole calls Cassie from the Ukraine because he’s acting on tips SHE gave him, in the future, his past. Oh boy.
130906
There are a lot of players in this game. While Cole tracks the suitcase full of the virus, it changes hands from the CIA Operative, to the henchmen of Adam Wexler.
130911
Cassie does her best to keep up, but Cole is calling to tell her that he’s already participating in Operation Troy, and he’s going to need to learn all the details about it – exactly one week from now.
130916
Cole evades the sniper from the Army of the 12 Monkeys, only to be taken hostage by snipers from Adam Wexler’s personal army.
130921
Trying to convince Special Agent Pratt that the mission has been compromised, Cassie and Adam show up to try and stop Operation Troy.
130926
After Cole is kidnapped by some serious sniper-types, he begs Wexler to NOT open the suitcase. But of course…the case is opened and the virus is released!
130931
You know who’s SUPER angry about his assistant stealing his key fob? Senator Royce. And he’s here to tell him the consequences of those actions.
130936
The virus released, Cole has no choice but to make sure that nobody leaves the compound. The problem is these guys have ideas of their own.
130941
Agent Pratt is not amused by Cassie’s story. But he does have to take it seriously, because Operation Troy is not going well.
130946
Meanwhile, in Chechnya, NOTHING is going well and the soldiers have decided to make a deal with the Russians for medical care by handing over Wexler to the government.
130951
Wexler is faced with the choice of killing Cole and saving himself, or sparing Cole and possibly saving himself. It doesn’t go great at all. But at least MOST of the people with the virus are killed in the process.
130956
Cole finally gets through to Cassie and tells her that the only solution is to destroy the place with fire before the Russian military gets there.
130961
Cole was successful, but he also died in the process, but now, a week later, Cassie realizes that she is sending him to his doom. Telling him means that the mission could go awry. Not telling means he’s dead.
130966
So it's one week later. Cole - who hasn't yet gone to stop Operation: Troy because time travel is trippy and that's how it works - shows up at Cassie's. Aaron Marker gives Cole all he needs to know about Operation Troy. The more Aaron Marker does, the more he seems like a stand-up guy and not a jealous ex.

Cassie and Cole. They’re totally into each other, but an insane amount of time travel and a pandemic virus that could wipe out the world – will always stand between them. Sigh.
