Deep inside of a volcanic mountain in Chile is a mine where Indians have toiled since the Spanish Conquest. In the deepest galleries remain strange sculptures of miniature cities and shrines where small, mummified beings sit around a table. Discovered only last year, these beings, less than a foot tall, are considered by locals to be from another world. The Araucanian Indians who live in the area also consider the mine haunted and report witnessing the small creatures wandering around in the darkness. The Indians have turned the mine into a shrine and worship the mysterious creatures within. Two similar mummies have been removed from a ghost town near the mine and sent to Santiago for analysis. Preliminary findings suggest that the skeletons are anomalous and may not be human.
Josh and the team decide to try a touristy Vampire haunted house before the investigation and realize sometimes that's scarier than the real thing.
Josh talks about why sometimes slowing down during your travels is the best course of action.
