Being biracial, Katy Murakami was always fascinated by other cultures. Raised in Los Angeles, her family was known for being adventurous eaters as a normal week's dinner could easily include Sri Lankan fare, Russian cuisine and Ethiopian food. She has always been active in sports from cross country to softball with soccer being her main passion, which she continues to play to this day. Katy graduated from NYU's Tisch School with a BFA in Film and TV as she knew she always wanted to produce television. Though she just came from producing internationally for the high-fashion series "America's Next Top Model," she knew that the rugged adventure of "Destination Truth" would be an exciting next step.
Josh and the team decide to try a touristy Vampire haunted house before the investigation and realize sometimes that's scarier than the real thing.
In this death-defying investigation Josh makes one of the most shocking paranormal discoveries in Destination Truth history.
Josh talks about why sometimes slowing down during your travels is the best course of action.
