This week the artists had to select a unique species of fungus and use it to inspire three zombie characters that displayed various stages of infection: 1 day since exposure, 7 days since exposure and 30 days since exposure. These are Ethereal Effects' final looks.

This is Kierstin's "Day 1" infection final look. Neville says that it’s a beautiful sculpture and Glenn really digs the detail in the paint job. Ve is into the subtle paint on the arm.

This is Faina's 7 Day of infection final look. All the judges agreed that the paint job on the legs was much better than the paint on the face. Guest judge, award-winning writer and video game creative director Niel Druckmann, says that the "starfish" on the eye is throwing off the fierceness of the character because it looks cartoony.

This is Nelson's 30 day infection final look. Glenn feels that the fungus on the head is "begging to be shiny and glossy and gross but instead, it’s bone dry."

These are Twisted Six Effects' final looks. There was no winning shop this week but KC, who's final look is in the middle, was crowned the individual winner.

This is Phil's final look. Neil Druckmann comments that the color on the face is so different from the color on the hands and legs. Neville says that this character feels more like a burn victim than a fungus victim.
