More genial than most of the cut-throats in Captain Bonny's crew, Smee takes the captured Lost Boys under his wing. But when the Jolly Roger is attacked, Smee shows he also has some formidable pirating skills.
Originally from Suffolk, England, Bob Hoskins first appeared on TV in 1978 on On the Move. Two years later he played 'Harold Shand' in The Long Good Friday. His next big film was Mona Lisa, for which he landed an Oscar nomination, as well as a Golden Globe and BAFTA Award. Other films include Dagenham Girls, A Christmas Carol, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Hook. He has made TV appearances in many BBC dramas, including The Changeling, The Wind in the Willows and On the Road. Hoskins has also directed (My Father the Liar, The Writer) written (The Raggedy Rawney) and produced (Joseph Conrads the Secret Agent).
