Sonita Henry


Sonita was born and raised in England to an English father and South American mother. She was hand picked by famed director Luc Besson to play the President's Aide in the smash-hit The Fifth Element, alongside Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman. Moving to New York, Sonita studied acting at the prestigious Herbert Berghof Studios. After five years there she made the move to Los Angeles and soon started working in television. Appearing in numerous TV shows including NCIS, Cold Case and Law and Order: LA.

In 2009 she landed the role as the Starfleet doctor in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, who safely delivers James T. Kirk, the future Captain of the Starship Enterprise. She also played female powerhouse "Ellie Langford" in EA Games' smash hit franchise DEAD SPACE 2 and 3. Sonita also recently appeared on the BAFTA nominated show Young Dracula and the 2013 Doctor Who Christmas Special.
