Devil May Care: Take a hellish road trip in exclusive sneak peek at SYFY's newest animated series
If you think your job is bad, try working for the Devil. And that's not a euphemism for a bad boss or anything — we're literally talking about the Father of All Lies himself.
In an exclusive sneak peek at SYFY's Devil May Care, which debuts during this weekend's TZGZ animation block, protagonist Beans (voiced by Asif Ali) learns that he has been assigned as Satan's personal assistant/social media manager. Still, it can't be all terrible when Beelzebub is voiced by Resident Alien star Alan Tudyk. Unfortunately, Beans doesn't see it that way and tells himself that he's having a particularly vivid nightmare as he drives across the hellish landscape of ... well, Hell with its chief demon, Gloria (Stephanie Beatriz).

Pamela Adlon (King of the Hill, Bumblebee) and Fred Tatasciore (Looney Tunes Cartoons, Kid Cosmic) comprise the remainder of the core voice cast. The show was created by Robot Chicken vet Douglas Goldstein, who serves as an executive producer alongside PSYOP's Amanda Miller. Miller developed the project, which is also executive-produced by Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse.
"I tried to think what a young guy would bring from his time on Earth that might be new-ish to Devil," Goldstein explained in an interview with Animation Scoop. "And the fact that Devil wants Hell to be as cool as possible made the whole social media thing click. Social media turned out to be so much worse than anyone thought it could be, it’s a perfect addition to Hell’s crazy society."
Devil May Care premieres tomorrow night (Saturday, Feb. 6) during the TZGZ block at midnight EST.
