This is Wynonna Earp, as in the great-granddaughter of gunslinger Wyatt Earp. Wynonna is a problem child - whom looks great in leather - that returns home to her backwater home town of Purgatory to mourn her uncle Shorty who died under mysterious circumstances.

The Revenants can’t leave town and escape Wynonna’s gun because of something called the Ghost River Triangle, which borders the town. If they step foot outside of City lines they go up in flames. Also, when Wynonna shoots them in the forehead - because that’s the only way to take a Revenant down - they also go up in flames. So basically, they’re damn if they do and they’re damned if they don’t. Damn.

Side note: In the beginning of the Season Waverly was dating the resident hick, Champ. But then she started a #wayhaughter relationship with Officer Nicole Haught and the Internet continues to go wild…

Dolls is super buttoned up, except for the secret drug addiction he has, which seems to be keeping him alive. So…medicinal drug use?

Also, we later learn that Wynonna accidentally shot her dad in the back when trying to save him as The Seven came to the Earp house, broke down their door and kidnapped her dad and her sister. Wynonna has major guilt issues about all this.

Doc Holliday hattttted Wynonna because of a beef he had with her great-granddy. But later, Doc and Wynonna ended up knocking boots, so he dropped his alliance with the Revenants and now he kinda loves Wynonna - though he would never say that out loud.

Dolls gives Wynonna a pep talk but no sooner than she starts to come into her own as heir - a plot twist! Her thought to be dead sister, Willa, is not so dead at all. Turns out she was hold up in a cult and had been brainwashed so she had no recollection of her past.

Wynonna takes the news on the chin, meanwhile Waverly is plenty suspicious of her new big sister. And she has reason to be.

Willa also had plans to unleash a kraken type creature on the town of Purgatory. But luckily, Wynonna gets the jump on her sister, placing a dummy Peacemaker in Willa’s bag when she wasn’t looking, and her Revenant boyfriend. Wynonna takes Bobo down and with a heavy heart, she kills her turncoat sister, Willa too.
