WARNING: If you don't want to know what happens in this episode, don't read this photo recap.
When the apocalypse comes, there will be roving bands of dentists who work on your teeth as a public service. Also, they will dump you into the back of their truck and use you for some unpleasant purpose to be revealed later.
193816
The team has come to the mighty Mississippi and have to kill a few Z's in order to score a boat.
193817
Sketchy and Skeezy! Remember them? They're the likable con artists from the Season 1 episode, "Welcome to FU-Bar." They've just looted Graceland and been conducting a new hustle called "The Murphy," where they pass Skeezy off as the Zombie Messiah himself.
193818
It's all shady charm until the boat is overrun by a zombie jam (a term we've never heard before, but we like the sound of it). And that leaves …
193819
... 10K separated from the team! Sketchy and Skeezy convince him to "walk life's journey" with them for a while. For such a smart guy, 10K is also sweetly gullible, no?
193882
Meanwhile, the rest of the team is on the other side of the river, arguing about whether to keep moving forward or go back and look for 10K. Upon Doc's insistence, they agree to spend 24 hours looking for their lost sharpshooter.
193821
When Sketchy and Skeezy (along with 10K) are accosted by a traveling group of hillbillies, they pull their latest hustle, "The Murphy," wherein they immunize people from the Z virus via Skeezy's rather artless bite. Later, they find the seemingly abandoned dentist truck and take it for a spin.
193822
The fatherly connection that Doc has with 10K comes to a fever pitch when Vasquez and Roberta tell him that if they don’t find him by morning, they're going to have to move on without him. Doc is tired of all of this running, gang. And who can blame him?
193823
The guy in the blue jacket is Tyler Burr, the leader of a close-knit community where people bring zombies (via means of trickery like the dentist truck) to act as slave labor. The humanity!
193824
Murphy is still pretty angry about Cassandra was killed, and the team is becoming divided over the idea that everything that stands in the way of getting Murphy to California is expendable. Doc is especially cranky in this episode!
193825
A new love interest for 10K! And as that never goes well, we're instantly worried for this girl. However, she ends up being the only person who takes 10K seriously when he says he was traveling with The Murphy (like, the real one).
193826
When the real "dentists" show up, they're none too happy that Sketchy and Skeezy stole their truck. They demand justice. And there's a trial!
193827
After a whole lot of lawyering by Sketchy that references everything from JFK to Serial, Hector Alvarez, aka The Scorpion, finds the accused guilty and sentences them to hanging.
193828
Addy gives one more plea to Doc to give up on this looking-for-10K thing. It's not easy for the team, but this is how it is. Or is it?
193829
OMG, it's going to happen: a hanging!
193830
Thankfully, 10K's new would-be love interest tipped off the gang and they're here to save the day. And the zombie slaves are set free!
193831
The team is reunited and back on the road, with Doc and 10K's father-son bond intact.
193883
Skeezy & Sketchy close the episode with their very own Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid-style freeze frame as they take on the freed zombie slaves. Anyone else hearing Jon Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory" right now?
