WARNING: If you don't want to know what happens in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
When the team reaches the U.S.-Mexico border, they discover a 2,000-foot long wall that can't be climbed, penetrated or gone around. And they also find …
195164
Zombies. And lots of them. So, backed up against the wall with no place to go, what will they do?
195165
Astonishingly, they are rescued by someone that none of us expected to be helpful: Hector 'Escorpion' Alvarez.
195166
The team is getting pretty tired of this. And it turns out that everyone who lives in this compound -- the headquarters of the Zeros cartel -- is completely fine with torturing zombies by leaving them to rot as compost.
195167
Played by (yes!) Gina Gershon, La Reina de los Muertos is the Queen of all things that happen here. And she is a real piece of work.
195168
La Reina is basically looking to be the purveyor of the cure for the Z virus. And she has just the doctor to work such magic with Murphy's blood ...
195169
Ugh. THIS guy. Dr. Walter Kurian. Remember him? He’s more or less responsible for the Z virus in the first place. Turns out he's working for La Reina.
195170
Roberta absolutely wants to kill Kurian but La Reina talks her out of it. After all, he's the only one in present company qualified to conjure the cure.
195171
When La Reina offers them bounty and employment in her organization in exchange for Murphy, Vasquez tells Roberta she should accept. She reluctantly does and the team is whisked off to …
195172
The zombie fighting pit! In order to join the group of dangerous misfits employed by La Reina, the team is forced to kill a whole bunch of Z's. Can they pull this off?
195173
Duh. Of course they can. The team slays dozens of zombies (in the dark, at that!) and emerge victorious, ready to join La Reina's Mexican paradise.
195174
Meanwhile, Kurian is testing the Murphy vaccine with human subjects, which produces half-zombie Cassandra types that follow Murphy's movements to a T. Hmm ...
195175
Also, Vasquez has figured out the person responsible for killing his family: Escorpion. And he's ready for sweet bloody vengeance.
195176
The team is all gussied up for their induction into the Zeros gang. And that includes Doc's insane beard, which has been put up in curlers. Seriously, look at that thing.
195177
As everyone is making an offering to the Man Who Will Cure the World, Roberta demands to know exactly what Murphy has promised Kurian. Murphy plays innocent, but let's be honest: the thing about Murphy is that he will always be out for himself.
195178
And that's when Vasquez decides to shoot Escorpion in the back of the head. Roberta acts fast and diverts the bullet.
195179
La Reina thinks that Roberta has saved her life, not Escorpion's. She thanks Roberta and allows Elscorpion to torture Vasquez.
195180
Interestingly, during the interrogation/torture session, Elscorpion mentions 'Zona.' Remember that? The fabled place a lot of guest stars keep bringing up at strange intervals?
195181
Vasquez is spared -- sort of -- as Kurian prepares to inject him with his latest version of the vaccine. His nefarious plan is to inject a person and have Murphy control him to make it look like the vaccine is a success ... and then inject it into La Reina so that Murphy can control her, too ... and thusly, the entire world!

We're going to have to wait until next week to see what happens next.
