12 Monkeys: Sneak Peek

Aidan proves that promises are made to be broken. After completely draining a girl he just met, Aidan laments that he wasn't able to keep his word to Suzanna to stop drinking live blood. Kenny of all people comes to Aidan’s rescue and helps him dispose of the body. It’ll be their little secret. For now.

Back at the house Josh, Nora and Sally look on while Robbie comes to grips with the fact that he is, in fact… dead. It seems that the house was angry that Robbie was trying to sell it, so it electrocuted him. Note to self: Never make a brownstone mad!

Distraught over her brother’s untimely death, Sally sets out with a plan to resurrect him. And although she has good intentions, Josh reminds Sally that maybe using black magic to bring Robbie back to life isn’t the best idea. On the count of the fact that when she was resurrected Sally became a zombie flesh eating hot mess.

But of course, Sally pays Josh’s heed no never mind and heads to Shopmart to summon Donna for help with her plan to bring Robbie back to life. When Sally gets to Shoptmart, she hitches a ride inside an innocent customer to help her move the ladder so that she can be hoisted to Donna’s exact death-spot in order to find her.

Once Sally is able to reach Donna and her death-spot she tries to pull Donna back into the present so that they can go about helping Robbie. But unbeknownst to Sally, before Donna can exit stage left into the future, she has to relive her hanging as a witch. She gives Sally a peek into her tragic life story of how she became the occultist she is today. Everybody has to start somewhere…

Back in the present day Aidan pays Suzanna a visit and tries to act as if he didn't just murder an innocent girl but Suzanna can smell the guilt and blood from a mile away. True to her word about being “ruthless” if she ever caught Aidan drinking live again; she poisons him so that Aidan can purge the blood he just drank. In his weakness Suzanna ties him to a sink until he atones for his sins. Damn. We wonder how she reacts when a guy forgets to take out the trash.

Back down memory lane Sally sees how Donna became a witch. It seems that when Donna was accused of witchcraft all those centuries ago, she was actually innocent. After her hanging, her body was retrieved by a coven of witches who brought Donna back to life by taking the innocent soul of another girl. So, Donna got to live – indebted to the coven forever – at the expense of the other girl’s soul.

Having seen what it’ll take to resurrect Robbie, Sally is at a crossroads of whose life she should sacrifice in order to spare her brother. In a surprise move Donna offers up her own soul but in an even more surprising move Robbie decides that he likes the freedom of being a ghost and so he vanishes before Sally and Donna can complete the spell to bring him back to life.

After realizing that Aidan is no more of a monster than she is, Suzanna tells Aidan the truth about what happened to their son—that he did not die as a grandfather but rather that she killed him by accident in a fit of hunger. Aidan tries to stake her but can’t bring himself to do it. Equally guilty of their pasts, the two comfort one another.

Still reeling from the events of the day Josh tries to cozy up to Nora but the wolf inside him takes over and he nearly attacks Nora. Frustrated and scared, Nora leaves the house and tells Josh to get whatever’s going on inside him under control.
