Suzanna, Aidan's first wife, is a cold-hearted vampire-killing machine and she wants Aidan to be one too. She gives Aidan a stake to use on his son, Kenny, who's now running Boston's vampires. Suzanna figures that if Kenny is killed it'll be easier to pick off the rest of the vampires so she makes Aidan an offer that he can't refuse.

Speaking of Kenny, although he’s a vampire and Astrid’s a wolf, these two kids continue to fall crazier in love with each other. Once Aidan witnesses their tender love he can’t bring himself to stake his baby boy.

Josh joins Mark, Andrew and the rest of the pack but quickly realizes that the guys are interested in Josh because of his ability to turn at-will. They get the bright (read: TERRIBLE) idea to make Josh turn/recruit more werewolves so that they can grow their numbers like the vampires. When Josh refuses to help out willingly they lock him in a cage and Taser him into submission.

Kenny's girlfriend Astrid alerts Aidan, Sally and Nora about what’s happening to Josh so they can rush in to save him. Aidan braves a room full of werewolves with the help of Sally while Nora is able to free Josh from his cage.

Possessing so many people is draining Sally but she musters up her last bit of strength to jump into the body of a big burly guy in order to plant a bit wet one on Aidan so that he’ll remember the love they shared in the alternate timeline. It’s awkward to say the least and although Aidan enjoys the kiss it doesn’t jog his memory.

Over at Sapp & Sons Suzanna sends Aidan an S.O.S. text from Kenny’s phone but when Aidan arrives he finds Suzanna hovering over an incapacitated Kenny. The jig is up. She tries to force Aidan to stake Kenny, his only surviving son, in a twisted plot to avenge the death of their son Isaac., whom she killed.

Realizing that Suzanna is suffering from some serious survivor’s guilt, Aidan stakes her instead of Kenny. An impossibly difficult decision made slightly easier because of Suzanna’s cray-cray behavior.
